ld - CSCO did effectively "guide down" today, but that can only be seen by wearing the proper decoder ring judging by the way the market shrugged off Chambers comments by the end of the day. They are the last of the big techs to report so I wouldn't be at all surprised to either see a warning from them come out next week or guidance revised downward shortly after earnings are released. Either way, the future doesn't look too bright for them - they're still carrying a lofty p/e, and Chambers a thesaurus it would seem that outlines every conceivable method of stating the obvious indirectly.
