Gee this is sounding famiiar. Remember seeing one of the early gated communities . Had a dream house built into the side of the rock mountain--------that is if you like the thought of living with the wildlife including the rock snakes---------Smoke Rise in New Jersey. EDS was wooing both my husband and me to work in New York----higher pay for him in the computer field and a chance for me to be in the midst of Wall Street. After 10 days of his commuting to work from the suburbs and considering houses---we rejected EDS's offer came back to Virginia--------and guess what we started a Neighborhood Watch in our local community. The side benefit was building a community where people knew their neighbors, said good morning and cared about each other----------without gates.
