I don't think so Snowshoe....After all, Lawyers, Doctors, CPA's, etc are accredited BY THEIR OWN ASSOCIATIONS. There is no law (well, may for Docs) that says they HAVE to be accredited.....but Professionals understand the Accredition..... No slippers slope. Well, yes there is. It is slippery for the general public that might think that Newspapers AND the people who write for them adhear to a code of ethics.... What ever happened to TRUTH in reporting????? Here, you can think Eason Jordan, head of World News and formerly of CNN, AND Jason Blair formerly of the NYT.
