VZ union threatens to walk off dailynews.yahoo.com This is a standard negotiation ploy. If I was the company I'd pull back the offer already on the table. Wouldn't be good for WSTL in the short term (the shorts would have a field day) but management can't let the unions dictate how to run the business. They either work together or it will ruin the company. JMO Tim
