Good evening, Jim... The market turmoil is certainly starting to creat some interesting opportunities... I covered a few of my short positions late this afternoon, and will try to set up for another such run down into Dec. It's easy money, and doesn't take much brains. But you can bet I'm not shorting things like APAT!
The big question for me is when we get the bottom here.... perhaps in mid-December, would you guess? I'm trying to get the best representative stocks in the Bandwidth sector of Telecommunications as well as some of the test equiment companies for semiconductors (currently looking at LTXX, GSNX, and VECO). APAT, of course, could be a gangbusters rep for the BW sector, since they could get very high growth numbers from a low base.... the stuff that market skyrockets get made of, if they hit..
//OT// the golf game goes well... holding the high 30's to low 40's per nine... so it looks like the game isn't completely gone, after all. Could use a bit warmer weather right now... the cold made it all the way down to south Texas !)...
