A Pentagon spokesman said the occupation, dubbed "Operation Make Them Spend," would continue until Japan had increased its imports from the rest of Asia by 50 percent. Oh come on, Victor, all they really need is a bunch of socialite girlies from New York, Beverly Hills, Chicago.... AND Buenos Aires to do right for god, flag and country..... Marry a bunch of Japanese corporate heads and start re-modeling their pads in Tokyo and other cities....(why do you thing the trade deficit in the US is so negative). Then, consumption in Japan won't be a problem, AND, the US trade deficit will be erased in about a week and a half! This is what is known as the "invisible hand of the market".... lol...
