In VVUS's case they have the worst hmm intelligent being running the place. But barring that I learnt more watching that company and the people than I learnt about before the rest of my life. It was costly but I think in the long run knowing what I know now would help me to understand things a little better. Not that I would do things differently since on an investment basis I would have got out of it when it broke 12 1/4 or so. I guess it has something to do with being dumb enough to not recognize a lost cause.
