I agree. I also thought that RCA was the market leader in overall US TV sales. Perhaps NPD is not including "GE" as part of Thomson's sales(which may or may not make sense). If you notice, the Thomson and Magnavox #s are only off by a max of 2 %, and if we include say, the "GE" brand Thomson would easily become the sales leader.
The sales rate #s should be something to look out for tomorrow. Like you, I am not really expecting to hear announcements of resolution of conflict tomorrow(ofcourse it would be a bonus it we did!). I have a feeling that team Gem Star is confident enough to take their own time--and will not be hurried by irrational selloffs.
