Basannan, who was detained by US authorities for questioning on his alleged links with Sept. 11 hijackers, arrived in the Kingdom last week after being acquitted by a San Diego court. I didn't know there had been a trial... Without one, resulting from a criminal charge, how could he be acquitted?? The burden of proof would be to show Basnan KNEW he was giving money to terrorists.. And that would be hard to show without witnesses testifying to such.. But it's FAR from an acquittal.. Just lack of "beyond a reasonable doubt".. However, what's BEYOND doubt, is the fact that he took money from Princess Haifa/Prince Bandar, and misdirected it, committing fraud.. Of course, Haifa and Bandar would have to file a criminal complaint against Basnan for doing so... Thus, Bandar/Haifa MUST HAVE INTENDED for the money to go to these terrorists, right (since they don't feel defrauded)?? Hawk@squeeze'emuntiltheysqueal.con
