I've seen the cable TV pundits' "critiques" and they all seem to say it's little more than two hours of excruciatingly realistic brutality and violence.

I have utterly no interest in spending two hours of my time watching such "art."

My mother noted during a weekend phone conversation that a young veteran who lost BOTH of his legs fighting Bush's war in Iraq was featured on the front page of her city's (large metropolitan area) mainstream newspaper.
