kholt... That trailer business is right up there near the top of the list of horrid approaches to NO problems completely agree... check out the percentage of vacant rental units in the U.S census.gov i don't know what it translates into wrt actual raw numbers of units...but it must be huge.... i think the last thing we need is a trailer/ghetto when we have so many existing vacant units which btw, i will tell you.... i have a friend (also a client) who owns a couple of apartment complexes....he was able to put up 2 NO families rent free and my company was able to completely furnish those apartments with donations (both new and used) this was done on his and our own initiative... i really do not understand why the feds cannot offer vouchers to the displaced to take up residence in existing vacant housing, surely we have more than enough for the entirety of the katrina victims
