I still can't figure out the differences in the "clarifications". Seems like a minor point of dispute, not worth issuing a press release over. It is like when you lease a car, the manufacturer offers their own leasing deal, but you can use someone else if you want.

Think of all the business equipment that will be sold on the internet, with First Sierra there to do the leasing. Nobody wants to buy equipment anymore, as leasing conserves cash flow.
