Hey lorne. Have you by chance seen the recent Saudi television infomercials depicting how civilized and sophisticated Saudi Arabia is? The authors actually had the unmitigated gall to depict people, happy, smiling, going about their daily business. Women openly in Western dress, makeup, smiling, driving, bragging about their highly educated population in perfect english, coyly perched on a beautiful sandy beach with men. Not for one second did one see a burka or any other form of oppression (nor for that matter a hint of koranic cultism anywhere).

I have seen this infomercial several times on US channels. I really wonder if the authors believe propaganda they were spouting. The whole thing seemed so completely cheezy to me.
