Martin,
Based on last quarters income numbers on domestic and international sales, and assuming an average unit price of $17 domestically and $6.50 internationally, I get the following:
Domestic $4,863,000/$17.00 per unit=286,059 units International $6,267,000/$6.50 per unit=964,154 units
Total Q4 1998 sales of $11,130,000/1,250,213 units = $4.90/unit.
As you can see they still have a long ways to go to reach their stated eventual cost efficiency of $2.75/unit. Won't happen without better product volume. Should see improved volume based on production for the European market. |
