Telefonica not going to write down value of UMTS licenses afxpress.com MADRID (AFX) - Telefonica SA said it does not plan to write down the value of its UMTS licences. Speaking to reporters in Seville, chairman Cesar Alierta said: "No other operator has done it, so we're not going to do it either."
