>>All in all I'm pretty much even when it comes to MU put playing. Hopefully I will be in the black though very soon.<<
craig, not bad since you've been stampeded by big fat overly wealthy bulls. i'd love to be in the black on mu. i know, i know, a guru who has lost every mu put imaginable to date. with guru's like that, who needs lackies ;-)
anyway, i bought some oct 37.50s back when mu was $45 - just before the bullish intellectual breakdown that led to a $60 price - can you believe it? i wrote them off, but, hey, i'm back in business again.
if we see $25 before oct expiration then i'm even on mu puts (and i'd be very happy to get this learning experience for zero tuition!)
the last major education i got was altogether too expensive. but i learned and have moved on. made back all of the loss in a relatively short time. still painful, however (the best kind of lesson, though - the kind you never forget!)
i would've loaded up in the high $50s, however, the misses decided she wanted a house soon and so my risk capital went to zero overnight. hence, i didn't load the proverbial boat.
however, i'm glad when others key in on reality and make a killing like a panther :-) congrats again. great play. i really think the teens are a probability before january.
