I think most Republicans and conservatives are ALL for the Vets being taken care of well....Most especially the ones who were wounded in battle! In fact, Snow, I think ALL Americans would want that. Since the Dems didn't fund the Iraq War as yet, with NO strings attached, and NO $21,000,000,000 (Billion) of pork attached to the bill, and no funding for things like armor on the Humvees, and more money for the Vets Hospitals and clinics...I can only surmise they went on holiday, and don't give a d*mn about the Vets or the Soldiers, for that matter. You will remember that Building 18 on the WR campus was one that was defunded some time ago...Therefore it wasn't kept up. Total incompetence for sure! But where is the civilian oversight? Where are the House and Senate Committees that are supposed to see about these things? Also remember, that no one that I've seen has complained about any help or treatment at WR Hospital itself. That is good to know.
