That is only partially true. If choices are limited by actual conditions, it is unlikely for ghetto kids to ever remove themselves from their situation. While many don't, the fact that some do shows that opportunities to choose beyond that which is readily apparent is a valid possibility.
The concept in business of "thinking out of the box" is precisely the opportunities to which I speak. Looking at what's supposedly available and then pointing yourself in a direction that seems non-existent.
I don't believe in limitations. The limitations I believe in are that I have 10 to the one millionth power of choices. Sure, it's a limitation...but it's too big to bear me down.
