I don't think hostages are legal. So taht moots taht. Even if they were - they're super high maintenance. I believe insurance should be fairly priced.

I consider explosives, cannon shells, etc. "destructive devices". I do not think they're covered under Article Two. I believe that civil ownership/use of these should be tightly regulated as it is now.
But if I lived in a rural area I should be able to study for and earn a dynamiter's ticket without undue trouble. Jmo.

Biological weapons? What degree? Tobacco smoke (arguably a borderline chemical weapon), or anthrax?

I didn't pay attention when the Elian picture was posted so I cannot comment on that part of it.
