BMY seems to have played this pretty stupidly. They must have realized that their bluff was likely to be called. Maybe they just wanted to go on record as being strongly against some of IMCL's management so they don't get pulled into the lawsuits - lawyers will go after any deep pocket that has their name associated. Don't count out the possibility that BMY will renogiate the deal at a later date.
