Absoutely!! I was only trying to clear up my misconception about the diagrams which did not show the GSM core network that the 1X BTS was sitting on.

I thought the 1X BTS was sitting on a ANSI core network in the diagrams. I thought the GSM/GPRS BTS in the diagram was sitting on a GSM MAP core networks. I didn't realize both the 1X BTS and GSM/GPRS BTS were sitting on GSM MAP core networks. That's all.
