dabum, I've set up a monthly watch list with the major indices in it on Stockcharts. It helps me discover and confirm direction. Here's Nasdaq stockcharts.com[w,a]maclniay[d19990829,20030829][pc13!f][vc60][iub5!up13,8,3!lah12,26,9!ll14][J16825698,Y]&listNum=16 I'm unsure what parameter values to use for the indicators. Any suggestions? IBD: I have signed up for the 2 week trial. Even though buying at new highs is counterintuitive to me, familiarity with the method may come in handy as the markets rise and quality stocks cannot be found near their bottoms any more. Gottfried
