I agree. As puzzling as the stock price movements are, I see value for the $. That's a long-term investment decision. As far as trying to predict the price movements for next week or next month...this stock just doesn't obey the laws of market physics.
>>I don't like the decline any more than anyone else, but I see many more reasons to buy than to sell at 24.<<
Yep, I agree. But if I buy more, I'd like to feel that I'm buying at the bottom. If you buy at a great price of 22.5 and the week after, it's at 20, then you'll wish you could've saved that 10%. :-)
For those of us that bought at 30, we thought we had a great deal considering that we were at a 6 month low and earnings report one month later was good. Not to mention a 15-20% jump after earnings report.
When's this sucker going to bottom out is the big question. If we're at close to 52-week low, then what's the stock going to do during preannouncement month (this month) when everybody's nerves are on edge? Especially, when 3Com will be as quiet as a mouse.
Hopefully, we sweat it out like last quarter, get another good report, and COMS will get the respect it deserves.
Cheers to everyone who's held this long!! |
