ATF.V LOL this is another of my "moonshot" Canadian puppies. Most people are in it for the NG conversions, which do have great potential, I'm in it mainly for the huge potential, of their Reverse Flow Catalytic converter, which they have code named Condor.

Check yesterday's news, and think of how many cc's there are out there.

Wed 12 Jan 2000 News Release
Ms. Joanne Cappis reports
The battle against diesel emissions is one step closer to having new
ammunition as Alternative Fuel Systems prepares for testing of its
innovative catalytic converter technology. AFS' reverse-flow catalytic
converter, developed in conjunction with Matros Technologies, has been
shown to dramatically reduce vehicle emissions and is already operating in
pilot programs on diesel/natural gas vehicles. This new round of testing,
conducted by Engelhard Europe, will combine AFS's RFC packaging with unique
catalytic chemistry to dramatically reduce NOx emissions from diesel
engines.
This second generation RFC is 30 per cent lighter than earlier models,
includes new fail-safe features, and has been repackaged to facilitate
manufacturing ease. Given preliminary test results, AFS has targeted a
50-per-cent to 55-per-cent reduction in NOx using this specialized DeNOx
RFC system.
During operation, a hydrocarbon agent is injected into the RFC system and
acts as a reductant to decompose NOx into N2, H2O, and CO2 efficiently.
This allows highly efficient emissions reduction even in lean-burning
engines under low-load conditions. Normally a reduction in system load
would cause exhaust temperatures to drop below what is needed for effective
catalytic converter operation. The RFC also maximizes the effective use of
the exhaust heat produced during high-speed and high-load engine
operations. The system will also significantly reduce emissions of THC, CO,
and particulates.
Following the successful completion of these tests in early February, AFS
expects the RFC system to be one step closer to commercial production and
sales. Already numerous companies in the industry have expressed an
interest in this revolutionary technology.
