| Probably, but with the US leading, the Arabs will never agree to anything we say, because they'll always say we are biased towards Israel. In addition, with us leading, it will be one more excuse to increase terrorism against Americans. Why do we have to be the world police? We have plenty of our own problems right here at home. My thought is that we start solving our own problems around education, homelessness, poverty, gangs, drugs, social security, deficit spending, etc, and let the world solve its own problems. And then if the world ever attacks us like they did on 9/11, we teach them a very big lesson like we did in Afghanistan. But why should we send billions to help others, when we do little to help ourselves right here at home? |
