Kerry's only big chances, it seems to me are

(a) Some kind "Reagan Moment" in the debates -- either where Bush blows it bigtime or Kerry destroys him with a remark the way Reagan did against Mondale;

(b) Terrorist attack (which may actually help Bush, not Kerry), or

(c) Really bad news out of Iraq that will cause voters to reconsider the situation; but again, something like this could help Bush instead.

I think barring one of these events is is safe to say it is all but over.
