Anybody else take note of Bernanke's answers to Ron Paul's questions on US gold reserves? Two things of note; Bernanke wouldn't come right out and say gold was (or had ever been) money, and that US held gold instead of something like diamonds because of "tradition". The fact gold has been money for 5000 years and diamonds is a market totally manipulated by one company has nothing to do with it? Maybe they will start using diamonds as money. About the time someone figures out how to fabricate gem quality stones, LOL. CD
