Just read an interesting column by Cramer--the street.com.
Titled -- "why the older pros scorn this market".
He talks about how on-line investors buy "on the news" while the tradition is to buy the rumor and sell the news.

I had also noticed a while back on the trading pattern of MSFT. When a rumor would come out--stock would go up a bit. Once the inevitable news was released, the stock would go up a lot.
In other cases, when it was known that MSFT will be making a certain positive announcment on some product a week from the day of the news story, the stock would go up a lot on the actual news release.
(I hope they don't change the date of that release)

IMHO, that is why I think MSFT goes up on April 13--the day the audio/video technology news is going to be released(i don't remember the details). Combine that with earnings the following week and we could get a huge jump. Lets wait and see.
