Don't know, but I lived in Florida during the early 90s, and visited in the 80s, always wondering
about elections.

I even got some pre-emptive descriptions of both the dangling IBM-chads and that punching device,
as well as how to insert a little stick from behind and make the counting wheels roll.
(me had used the same to play pin-ball games, tick-tick)

However, I never lived in those districts, but got partially inspired by the 198X?? congressional
debate, on C-SPAN, to ask around (that is, lived in an evolved cable district)

But I lived in some 7% voting districts, as well as close to some..hmm..non-something districts,
opposed, or whatever it is called, weird word.
(absurd humor for someone with more parties available than fingers and some neighbors,
relatives participating in the regular double-double-double-checked counting of votes,
which under all those watching eyes, usually takes just 30-40 minutes, additionally
exit-polls are banned by law, "peace of voting")

Ilmarinen

I used to joke with them earlier, but thanks to Bush, they have now increased my level from
just a good Swift-Gulliver-story-teller or regular village idiot to something else.
