Who'd have thought that communism wouldn't be wonderful? Leaders of the Labour-controlled council called the move “a necessary step”

I have affection for Birmingham as a good friend grew up handy to it, namely, Bulls Lane, Wishaw. We stayed there for a few days and traveled on their canal barge to Fradley Junction [3 of us aboard - a family friend showing how to do it].

I have affection for much of Great Britain as I've spent years there over 50 years and ancestors are from various parts. It's such a shame that dissolute unVVVs have so reduced it. But it has largely held its own with Londonistan still wonderful in many ways.

Hong Kong under Beijing's dictatorial yoke is not the harbinger of freedom but VVVs remain very high there as they take a generation or 3 to fade away as the carriers die off or are killed off.

I can see the dilemma - flee or stay? An eternal dilemma because nothing's perfect. We have fled and stayed many times over 5 decades, with each place having its attractions and deficits.

Rishi and co-conspirators have to try to deal with what Margaret Thatcher explained decades ago = the trouble with socialism that eventually you run out of opm.

Unfortunately, such hordes vote for more free stuff each election that it could end up like Zimbabwe. And swarms of immigrants will turn it into from whence they came. They come for the good stuff and turn it into whence they came. Like women voting for lovely Moslem men to swarm into their countries but somehow resent being robbed and raped as though they thought something else would happen. Sure, not all Moslem men are raping murderers, but you only need one in 1000 to think it a good idea and an entitlement versus infidel women via Koranic edicts.

China, Singapore, Japan seem effective at handling criminal people. Antwerp was good 35 years ago too - it was very nice living there as people were well behaved. Police were on the case. Good behaviour was expected.
