Well.... besides the signs of bureaucratic incompetence, it was well known to many in our government that God was shielding America from attack.
By the way, what was Condoleezza Rice doing with all of the information about a pending attack against America? I guess, with God shielding America from harm, nothing had to be done.

98%. What shows the Arab's intention to destroy Israel is the six wars, in which Israel was attacked by Arab states, 60 years of terrorist attacks, and the fact that few Arab states recognize Israelis right to exist.
Imagine if your neighbor doesn't recognize your family's right to exist, and your neighbor is very violent and warlike. If your neighbor continues to attack your family, and kills your children, would you eventually get the point that, when your neighbor says that he doesn't recognize your family's right to exist, he means it?
The Arab dictatorships recently got together in Lebanon, which had been destroyed, and occupied, by Syria and Arafat's Palestinians. At the conference they offered to recognize Israel's right to exist, if Israel would go back to indefensible borders.
All world leaders smiled, and nodded their approval, and said, "How nice it is for the Arab dictatorships to offer to recognize Israel's right to exist". What a joke. The SNEAKY Arabs would peel back Israel's borders, not keep their word, as always, and proceed with their goals of destroying Israel.
