Lawdog, and who qualifies as an idiot? And, by what standards? I believe the real issue here is do we want this type of action, without court overview, in America. And, I sincerely believe recovery of the child could have been accomplished without this action. Unfortunately, many law enforcement types (certainly not all) could become intoxicated with the opportunity to be macho and cause serious unneeded damage. i.e. Waco and Ruby Ridge. They are needed associates but they do need to be bridled and controlled by overview from the courts. Otherwise, playing tough guy could cause real problems. Frank
