Like Clevo, MTC has a number of X2 and Napa solutions on display and it appears choice seems to be a running theme among exhibitors at Computex. Most vendors had AMD Turion 64 X2 notebooks on display, and a number of them had multiple models. Industry sources indicated that AMD is trying to make a big splash with its X2 rollout, and that the CPU maker is supporting notebook makers no matter how small their processor order volumes are.

Several vendors commented that they believe AMD should be able to gain market share with the new processor, as the company is steadily gaining acceptance in the notebook industry and with Intel\'s market share already so high, there is no place for Intel to go but down. During an AMD event, Raymond Wah, director of HP\'s Mobile Business Group, stated that one reason HP launched a business notebook based on the AMD X2 processor was that its customers demand choice.
