JLA, Unfortunately you did not address my main point which is based on the fact that abortion is an all or nothing situation. If agreement cannot be reached compromise is impossible,no? Can't have a partial abortion can we ? Thus in cases of all or nothing situations the minority position is Irelevant.Clearly the male interest based on personal beliefs and biological interests is far out weighted by the fact that the mother carries the child inside her body even as a part of her body.This makes the male position the minority position.

If the case of changing jobs was going from a sewer worker to a business executive and resulted no change of living address, security or other such effects on family life then You could make a case for her opinion being a minority one and not relevant.
I'm curious. If your wife were to become pregnant and after much discussion you could not agree to abort or not who's opinion would prevail?
