This guy is strong left wing.

Beinart is a classic New Republic writer, largely a DLC guy when it comes to the Democratic Party. And hardly a "strong left wing." Marty Perez would have something of a fit if he thought that were true.

But Beinart writes interesting stuff. More than well worth reading and arguing with. One can learn more than a little in the process.
