[edited] @Joe - distribution
We could only track (mainly) retail, but what I could see is
heavy volume in the low-end space of each segment. When it
comes to the X2, the 3800+ sells awesome followed by 4200+,
but above volume drys out very quickly. As you mentioned, not
many people are willing to pay so much money and all above
3800+ is really "expensive" (for Joe Average) when you ask me.
The same could be said for A64. Heavy heavy volume at 3000+
and 3200+ - thats it. Less at 3500+ and way way less above,
again price, price, price ...
And as you mentioned yesterday and I quoted it already a few
weeks ago, I'm really hoping for higher SC bins, which is
imho a logical thing, when I see the A64 Bins. Your prices
make sense very much. Why downbin so heavily on nearly all
fronts here, when you could easily introduce faster new
parts which increase choice, variety and speed in the main
demand-sector?
What comes next ... interesting times. ;-)

edit:
Some distris, which had already the lowered A64 prices are
just today sold out of all (meanly 3000+/3500+ and 3800+)
stuff yet, meanly 939. Lol.
AM2 supply very good - I'm surprised to see this so fast.
