They have to save the market; they've done lost most of the State, County , and City Pension funds , so they have no choice but to buy the market back up. Get the Fed to cut taxes while the States UP them , then the States can make the taxpayer buy stocks even if he don't want to. Don't worry the plan is in motion as I write this. Jim BTW in the late 90s JP6 didn't buy a drop in the bucket compared to to the State and Local Government pension funds who really created the big bubble, from 96 to 2000 they took trillions out of bonds to get into stocks and create big budget surpluses , which have now turned into huge deficits. But they can fix taht, the average hike this year in State Taxes will be about 12% & most of that will be pluged into the market.
