bill--

See my post to Mark where I've apologized. I was wrong to say "announced," and I explained each position, including the fact I don't follow BC as closely as BCTEL. Re: LU/HKT, I was referring to their small aDSL contract. Yes, I still expect some VDSL CAP.

<<<Will the AMTX solution interoperate with the ALA/ADI/TI/Siemens solution. I've heard the promises for 18 months, I would like to see the test results.>>>

My understanding is that they've reached a decision and will bring out an announcement as soon as someone decides who the sponsor will be. I know, it doesn't instill a lot of confidence to realize they can't agree how to bring out the announcement of cooperation. :/

<<< I know you don't like to quote the Telechoice group, but they are the experts in the xDSL area.>>>

I've talked to Danny Briere as recently as last Friday and we agree on our view of FlexCap. So does every analyst with whom I've spoken.

<<<I'm not trying to insult you, but you certainly seem to blow off the BA contract as nothing... and bury Westell at every opportunity. The BA group isn't going to change their minds at this point in the game. They are going with a CAP solution. I'm not going to debate the JPC, because they have publicly stated they are going with a DMT solution. I take that on face value and go with it.>>>

I deserve to be chastized. I had not even seen the BA contract that had numbers. True, I don't have a high opinion of Westell's products based on what I've heard of both their FlexCap and their 7Mbps RADSL. I have nothing against them as a company. I am speaking strictly about their products. And you're right, I don't expect BA to change its course.

<<<. It's been a long day, I need a break..... Have a good weekend... until later.>>>>

Same for me. I'd just had some minor eye surgery when I made those posts and I apologize for all my errors. I would love to blame it on the anaesthetic, but since it was only one eye, I don't think I can get away with it. As Mark said, "weak. . ." Yes, weak, indeed.

You have a good weekend, too.
