Willamette Performance Revealed realworldtech.com In a matter of speaking. This is DeMone's apologia for Intel at Dean Kent's site. For everybody pleased with Anand for bagging spec in his review, DeMone tries to make up for it by talking about nothing BUT spec. And unlike Anand, he doesn't need to bother running the benchmarks himself, he just takes Intel's numbers from some future compiler version to be indicative of the way things ought to be, if the world just all got behind Intel like they oughta. I didn't look at this too closely, I figure it's sort of like reading the Register these days. It all sounds pretty much like the company line to me. Cheers, Dan.
