Financial panic is subsiding, at least. Fundamental issues are the same, with new consequential problems: more unemployment, more debt, excess inventories, shut-in production, etc.

As panic declines and the global economy reverts to the new "normal" all countries face the same problem: they must grow their way to economic health. A few have more resources to deploy coming out of this crisis; they'll fare better than others.

"Finite" is elastic. Nevertheless, at some point the growth model becomes unsustainable, and the world must find equilibrium. Coming decades will decide the order of individual countries within that equilibrium.
