Amen to that. The world is full of sheep waiting to be shorn, and, having been shorn a few times meself, I have also learned that thinking for yourself is always the best stratagy. Even if it fails, at least it was yours and not someone elses, so you will think twice the next time.
Along the cube thoughts and the DVD market, I was in our local electronics store today and was scouting out the DVD players. There was a Pioneer model there that was priced at 500 dollars. The salesman said that they had been selling very nicely. I anticipate over the next 12 months into the 98 Chrstmas period these prices will fall significantly more, and many units will be sold. Thus we will run into the classic volume vs price argument. If prices fall, will the price of the guts fall with it. Will the volume be sufficient to make up for it. Thoughts anyone?
