A friend of mine, who knows a thing or 2 about currencies, was arguing that a Fed rate cut/raises don't necessary correlate with movements the dollar. He didn't have time to explain... You (or anyone) got an idea about the validity of this claim. I'd think they are-at a minimum-somewhat positively correlated....
