<< Tiger Trivia from an article in today's Boston Globe ..."... in all eight of his major triumphs, <Tiger> has had the 54 hole lead. That is, he's never come from behind to win." That should be of some small comfort to Justin Leonard. >>

Justin Trivia from David Barrett of Golf Magazine:

Leonard would like to rest comfortably, but he knows from experience that five shots can be made up over the last 18 holes of a major. He came from five back to score his only major victory at the 1997 British Open, and also was five behind before making a playoff at the 1999 British Open (which Paul Lawrie won from 10 behind). Leonard has led through 54 holes in one major, sharing the advantage with Davis Love III in the 1997 PGA Championship at Winged Foot. That year, Leonard shot a respectable 71 in the final round, but it was no match for Love's 66. In all, Leonard is four-for-seven when holding the lead entering the final round on the PGA Tour, including the last three in a row.

One never knows. Things could get interesting.
