"How do you ask a man to be the last man to die for a mistake?" -- John Kerry, veteran, 1971

Very powerful words and still relevant today with Iraq. Time for Kerry to bring this back to the campaign trail. We are aware of Osama's taunt that the Americans will withdraw in the face of casualties. However it is also important to realize that we do not need to have so many casualties to wage a war against those whoi live in caves, have no air force, tanks or armory to speak of. We should have been in a position to be ahead in this war with far lesser casualties. But we rushed into it and did not plan well.
