How would you define him being "strong left wing" - by what standards? Beinart's first book, entitled The Good Fight: Why Liberals---and Only Liberals---Can Win the War on Terror and Make America Great Again, is currently on bookshelves.[1] He wrote the book, expanding on "A Fighting Faith," while serving as a guest fellow at The Brookings Institution. I haven't read the book but the title suggests something about his politics. I do intend to look at it next week. I don't like his opportunistic approach. For the war. Against the war. Don't attack the IMF (your opponent), it will give strength to the terrorists. Don't accuse your opponent of assisting terrorists. He is another one who employs the canoe principle and the 20-20 hindsight concept. (If he has actually been vocal and clearly critical of Moore and Soros, I will modify my claim that he is a strong supporter of the left wing. In fact, I will applaud him).
