Everyone seemed extremely tense and had a lot of trouble reading their lines. When the President came on, he started with "Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, ....". I am sure he repeated it at least 10 times! (you coulda mistaken him for a Canadian <g>) The only part that did not seem scripted was his forceful denial in the last 30 secounds. This is the part that made the later newscasts. This looks like it will become another defining moment in TV right up there with Richard Nixon's "I am not a crook" statement from several years ago. Anybody else watch this in it's entirety?
