Taqi, Semi-equip BTB came out on Friday...July BTB's are Front End 1.12, Test 1.23, Assembly 1.01.Front End is up strongly from last month's 1.03... Not much of a choice for chipmakers but to buy the latest equipment in order to remain competitive. If this economy is in the so called "sweet spot", than semi-equipment makers are entering their own cyclical "sweet spot" in terms of demand. The baton of market leadership will more than likely be carried by the semis in the near and possibly intermediate term. Returns through 98 should be rather impressive. I've noticed it's getting harder and harder to trade them, therefore I'm just gonna hold and if possible buy on any irrational weakness the markets most assuredly will provide.. john john
