13:37 ET Moody's sees further risks to P&C insurers : Moody's believes that further deterioration is likely for many U.S. property & casualty insurers' investment portfolios due to credit losses stemming from exposure to troubled co's; however, the agency expects the relative magnitude of these losses to be modest; also, Moody's believes that U.S. P&C insurers face potentially significant risks from underwriting exposures related to credit default swaps, directors' and officers' (D&O) liability policies, and surety bonds written on projects and financial obligations of troubled co's.
