Nah, you know auto-speeding is correlated more with innate aggression than any sense of time-saving. Personally, when on a bicycle I fantasize about having some sort of paint gun to tag drivers who offend me. Perhaps we could have a technological equivalent: aim an electronic wand at the car of someone who has offended against thee, it communicates with the car. A tally is kept of such events; if the score per hundred miles reaches a threshold, a light flashes on top of the car that signifies "This car is driven by an ...!" If peer pressure doesn't work then maybe a speed-governor could be activated.

I've known some pretty bright people who are dreadful drivers.
