>>I did a lot of work with DeMark indicators and am of the opinion that they are no better no worse than anything else. I also tried an 8 period RSI on the 1-minute chart of the e-mini to catch the up and down movements. Also tried moving averages. But I don't use any of those now<<

What's fascinating to me about index trading/traders..., is there's nothing quite like the rush of getting an entry that works right and watching your position carried by the market. Add to this all the individual psyches playing their own skills against the chaos of chart bars and you have a fascinating activity. I know people who rarely watch the minute tick charts and do all their trading by setting alarms and know exactly where their going each morning and do something else until an alarm tells them to make another decision. I know others who trade through systems developed off machines. And others who trade purely by daily patterns and a few momentum indicators. Others who scalp using 12 screens and 12 different indicators.

Part of this Game is a schooled Brain.

What works for DeMark is a function of his personality and brain structure. I happen to be very visual and pattern recognition within bars along with charting tools like the Andrew's Pitchfork seems to work better then DeMarks Break out numbers. Teaching ourselves what works for us seems more important to sustain a Trading Life.
